Because of the peace and joy and happiness that have come into my life, since taking up the study of Christian Science, I wish to express my gratitude. It was not for any physical healing that I began the study of Christian Science, but it was because of a longing to know and understand God better. When I first started to study "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I had read only about one third of the book when I was able to do away with glasses, which I had worn over five years. For years I never knew what it was not to have a backache, but by learning more of the true, spiritual man, that and other ailments have left me, without my being conscious of their disappearing.

The clearer understanding of the one Mind has been such a help to me in my work as a teacher. I am trying to know that God's child is not held in any bondage or by limitation of dullness or lack of intelligence; and by knowing that each idea of God expresses infinite wisdom, obedience, harmony, and love, the school day has become one of pleasure and enjoyment. When I took up the study of Christian Science I was teaching physiology and other natural sciences; but that problem has been beautifully met, for now I am teaching mathematics. By knowing that God's child could not be out of his right place I was able to go from a grade position to a high school position in a large western city in five months. Many forms of error, such as limitation, partiality, resentment, and the like, had to be overcome.

I am so grateful for the privilege of working in the Christian Science Sunday School, of having gone through class, and of knowing better each day that the law of harmony, God's law, is always operating, and that it is only false belief that ever keeps me from seeing the working of this law.—(Miss) Flora Waterbury, San Pedro, Calif.
