"Faithful in that which is least"

Christian Science in its presentation of Truth is helping mankind to use every least revelation of God's word and is teaching us to understand what Paul meant when he said, "For in him we live, and move, and have our being."

At one time I found myself suffering acute pain, and an angel came to me in the form of these words from our beloved textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy (p. 374), "Hatred and its effects on the body are removed by Love," and I cared not in the least about the pain; what I longed for was a further understanding of divine Love. Then another angel came, this time through the words of a hymn (Hymnal, p. 120), "Oh, for their sake,—press thou on!" and I was healed. In another experience, hatred and envy and jealousy seemed rampant because of a stand taken for Principle. As I thought this problem out, carefully endeavoring all the time to follow the Master's advice, "Cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye," I recalled the account in John's gospel of Jesus' restoration of sight to the man that was born blind,—and are we not all as this man until Christian Science reveals to us what Jesus' words to Nicodemus meant, "Ye must be born again"? I looked the chapter through, and noted that after the healing of the blind man had taken place, the gospel narrative says, "They cast him out." Jesus heard of this, and when he had found him the Master imparted to him the most careful and scientific instruction. This brought to me our Leader's wondrous words (Poems, p. 4):—
