The study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and the help of authentic Christian Science literature and teaching have been of inestimable value to me. It was in the year 1898 that I first heard of Christian Science. It was presented to me by my sister through kind and loving influence, she herself having been healed some years before. At first I did not take it up for healing as I was very well at the time; but as religion it was to me the divinest I ever knew or heard of. Truly, in the language of the Scriptures, "He sent His word and healed them." I have been healed of what two prominent physicians of our city called intestinal indigestion, or a serious trouble in the large colon. One of them said it would take a long time to cure, and I was compelled to give up my position on account of the ailment. Here it is but just to acknowledge that they were kind and did everything within their means to relieve me. In this distressing condition, depression, and fear of death I turned entirely to God for healing. In two weeks I was perfectly well. Thanks be to God for our dear Leader, the revelator of Christian Science to this age.—Frank E. Siebert, Springfield, Ill.
