About four years ago I first asked for Christian Science...
About four years ago I first asked for Christian Science treatment. I had suffered continually from stomach disorder for years and was on the verge of despair when through the loving efforts and advice of my daughter I consented to try Christian Science. With one treatment the trouble was overcome, and I was convinced of the healing power of Truth; however, I still retained a belief in another power and was subsequently stricken with paralysis and vertigo. I had one stroke after another until the third. All of my friends who were not Christian Scientists of course believed I would never recover, but God's law prevailed, and about one month after the last stroke I was able to take a trip on the train and come to the place where I am residing. I now have no symptoms of this disease.
I have had many minor ailments overcome since my first healing. My pen fails to express my gratitude for these great blessings, but the spiritual uplift is even more wonderful. I shall ever continue to give thanks for Christian Science, and sincerely hope my testimony may help some sufferer to find the truth that makes us free.
