After reading the testimonies in the Sentinel each week...
After reading the testimonies in the Sentinel each week I feel that I too have a beautiful message, and hope some one may be benefited thereby. After years of invalidism, about three years ago I accepted Christian Science as a last resort, and it would take too long to tell all of my healings. A very serious bowel trouble, a fissure with hemorrhages for years, blood poisoning, throat trouble, and stomach disorder have been overcome and a broken arm was healed. After a fall twelve years ago that injured the spine, I was sent to Battle Creek for medical treatment, and upon examination was told I must undergo an operation, as my back was getting crooked and would continue to grow worse. I did not have the operation performed, but while in Indiana three years ago, after I had begun the study of Christian Science, I was instantaneously healed. The spinal vertebræ snapped into place, my back straightened, and an internal growth disappeared. I am seventy years old and friends often speak of how straight I am.
For all this I am more than thankful to our heavenly Father, and grateful to our dear Leader, who has blazed the way for us.—(Mrs.) Mary F. Haines, Maryville, Tenn.
