Surely the crucial question about any method is, Are the healing results good? And here Christian Science will hold its own with any other system, and with this to its credit, that the patient healed physically is also benefited mentally and spiritually. Christian Scientists do not airily treat patients by flippant methods. On the contrary, those restored to health through Christian Science are often lastingly grateful for the spiritual enlightenment received as well as for the early relief from pain and suffering. Mental suggestion and mere blind faith are erroneously associated with Christian Science, which is not a product of mortal thinking but the understanding of and confidence in the operation and power of divine law.
