I feel a deep sense of gratitude toward Mrs. Eddy for "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." This book has revealed God to me as Love and has taught me that when rightly understood, He heals the sick and casts out evil. I owe much gratitude for these words: "Ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart," as Christian Science was not by any means easy for me to understand and required much studying on my part. Mrs. Eddy tells us in Science and Health (p. 1), "Desire is prayer; and no loss can occur from trusting God with our desires." It is this desire that has given me an understanding of God. I have been healed of a skin disease, stomach disorder, an abscess, nervousness, and head and scalp troubles, all of long standing, also of grippe. My sister laid aside her glasses after two treatments. My husband was also healed of a bad case of grippe.

We owe endless gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for this practical religion. We are grateful for all these healings, but more so for the spiritual understanding. I am deeply grateful for the authorized literature and for the lectures, which are so helpful. I am indeed thankful to God that I was led into Christian Science. —MRS. E. A. MacNeil, St. Paul, Minn.

I have been healed of many minor ailments, also of the liquor habit, and Christian Science has taught me right thinking and living.
