I became interested in Christian Science, not for physical healing, but because it appealed to me as a consistent religion. I did not, however, gain an understanding of its teachings until we had proof of its healing power. This demonstration was an instantaneous healing of Bright's disease, after prominent physicians and specialists had given up the case. Since that time, nearly seven years ago, Christian Science has supplied our every need, and I am indeed grateful for all that it has done and is doing for us each day. In our home tonsillitis, inflammatory and sciatic rheumatism, St. Vitus' dance, and many other discordant conditions have been overcome; and as we go on with the study of Christian Science and faithfully apply its teachings, we find these conditions do not appear so often as they did, so I feel that the truth is preventive as well as curative.

I wish to express gratitude for our periodicals, and my earnest desire is to prove my gratitude by loving service. (Mrs.) Maritta David, Wilmette, Ill.
