Omaha, Neb. (Second Church).—George Shaw Cook, lecturer; introduced by L. G. Reynolds, who said in part:—

It was his understanding of God as the only power which enabled Jesus to do his mighty works. Christian Science comes to bring this understanding to mankind. It does so by restoring the primitive Christian healing of sin and disease as taught and demonstrated by Christ Jesus and his followers centuries ago. When the command to heal the sick was dropped out of the teachings of Christianity, this important omission made room for the many creeds and theories which followed. Christian Science places Christianity back on the practical basis of demonstration. Mrs. Eddy has shown us that healing by divine power is a present day possibility; she has called the world to reason on this subject and to judge by the results obtained.
