It is with great pleasure that I express my heartfelt gratitude for the healing which I have experienced through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner. In the spring of 1915, previous to which a double affliction had fallen upon my household, I found myself mentally and physically depressed, so much so that I was fast sinking into insanity. In July of the same year, as a last resort and with little or no faith, I was led by divine Love to apply for Christian Science treatment. I am thankful to say that the healing was accomplished at one visit, and the peace of God, the desire to forsake all for Him, filled my heart. I was also relieved of an almost lifelong tendency to hysteria, which during the last year had greatly increased. My eyesight was helped at the same time. From wearing glasses constantly for twenty-five years, and for four or five years a much stronger pair for reading, I was able to discard them entirely except for fine work, for which I have since used the weaker glasses. I have been enabled to pay some long-standing bills, to manage my children and household affairs more harmoniously, and in fact am constantly receiving help in many ways.

For all these blessings I am deeply grateful, but I feel even more thankful to God for an understanding of the truth which makes free.
