Mrs. Eddy says on page vii of the Preface of her wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." My blessings have been great, for Christian Science has sustained me and mine in many trying experiences. Serious illnesses have been overcome through the power of Truth, also the effects of accidents. Our son, when about fifteen years of age, mounted a very fractious horse one day, and in so doing both he and the horse fell backward with such force that neither could rise without help. The lad's head struck on some ice, causing him to be unconscious for several days, and he was badly bruised otherwise. Nobody who saw the accident thought he would live through the night, but thanks to Christian Science and to the help of a faithful practitioner, he is well and strong to-day. In about three weeks he was able to walk again. For this healing and many other demonstrations I am indeed thankful to God, also grateful to Mrs. Eddy.
