I have long felt that a public expression of thanks for Christian Science was due from me. Could all the benefits this teaching has conferred on me and mine be written, they would indeed fill a book. Christian Science has changed my whole life and character; from an ill, unhappy semi-invalid I have become the very opposite. It has delivered me from fears, belief of inherited temper, as well as so-called inherited physical ailments, and changed my thought of God as an unknowable, far-away, unjust, mysterious power, whom I could not love and only feared, to that concept of Him as "universal, eternal, divine Love, which changeth not and causeth no evil, disease, nor death" (Science and Health, p. 140).

Christian Science when rightly applied has always brought harmony in place of discord of every name and nature. Like thousands of others I can only say that words fail to express my gratitude and love for the knowledge of Christian Science as given to the world by dear Mrs'. Eddy. I am grateful for all our literature. The Journal and the Sentinel, with the helpful articles and testimonies coming to us so regularly, often meet some need of encouragement, or help us to detect some error in consciousness. I am thankful to the faithful workers who send out to the field such clear statements of Truth.

It has been twenty-four years since I first began to study Christian Science. In all this time it has been my only physician. It has healed my sorrows and met every need, mental, moral, and physical, as well as financial. Since my first treatments I have not spent a day in bed and have been able to do work that was seemingly very hard. I thank God every day for this blessed truth.
