Current Notes
Cleveland, Ohio.—Plans have been filed in the building department for the two hundred thousand dollar edifice of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, to be constructed on Euclid Avenue and East Seventy-seventh Street. The auditorium, which will be 110 feet square, will seat about sixteen hundred persons, and a gallery in the rear will have a seating capacity of about three hundred.—Cleveland Plain-Dealer.
Burlingame, Cal.—To keep pace with the growth and progress of Christian Science in this city, it has become necessary for First Church of Christ, Scientist, to provide a more central place of worship. With this purpose in view a lot with 100 feet frontage has been purchased on Oak Grove Avenue, facing Acacia Drive, and plans are being prepared for an appropriate edifice.—The Burlingame Advance.
Chicago, Ill.—The corner-stone for the edifice of Eleventh Church of Christ, Scientist, of Chicago, which is being erected on the northwest corner of Logan Boulevard and Mozart Street, was laid at six o'clock Thursday morning, July 6.—North-West News.
