The Lectures

Francis O. Cass, first reader of Sixth Church of Christ, Scientist, in introducing William R. Rathvon, who lectured on Christian Science at Shrine Auditorium before an audience of about fifty-three hundred people, said:—

Christian Science, the subject of the lecture this afternoon, is today engaging the attention and thought of the whole world. And well may it do so, because it is a demonstrable knowledge of God and man's relation to Him. It heals the sick and the sinning, and brings the kingdom of heaven to the consciousness of all who accept its message of Love, proclaiming again, as did the angels at the birth of the Bethlehem babe, "Glory to God in the highest; and on earth peace, good will toward men."—Correspondence.

Bicknell Young delivered a lecture on Christian Science to a large audience assembled in Fraternity Hall. He was introduced by Prof. John E. Lautner of the Northern State Normal School as follows :—
