Christian Science came into my life at a time of great physical need, and by reading the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was healed of what two doctors called creeping paralysis. Besides the wonderful peace that came to me, I soon realized that the terrible ache was gone and that I had peace of mind "past finding out." The Bible became beautiful and clear, such a "help in trouble." For years I suffered intensely from a skin disease, and went from one doctor to another in the hope of being cured. After I became a Christian Scientist and was healed of sleeplessness, bowel disorder, female trouble and kindred ills, I realized that "with God all things are possible," and finally dryness of the cuticle also yielded and I was free.

I am very grateful for the helpful articles on the Home Forum page of the Monitor each day, and for all our Christian Science periodicals, as well as for the writings of our dear Leader, who has again given the world the Christteaching to be understood and demonstrated. I am also grateful for class instruction, and for all the help I have been able to bring others. Mrs. Eddy says that "the divine Love, which made harmless the poisonous viper, . . . can heal the sick in every age" (Science and Health, p. 243). I wish to acknowledge the help and comfort Christian Science was to us during a case of typhoid fever. When hope was gone I clung steadfastly to God, and the patient was saved.
