It is impossible to express in words my deep gratitude for...

It is impossible to express in words my deep gratitude for Christian Science. My whole life has been changed by the wonderful interpretation of the Bible and the inspiring teaching of Mrs. Eddy as found in the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Before I knew of Christian Science my life was full of worries and fears, either for myself or for others. I welcomed "luck" when it came, but always with a conviction that it was too good to last.

It is for the absolute peace and confidence gained through Christian Science that I am most grateful. I now know, and have proved over and over again, that no matter what the difficulty to mortal sense may be, God's law is ever active and all powerful. I know that as I learn more of His goodness and of the nature of His law of good, that good will be manifested in my life and in the lives of all those with whom I come in contact. I welcome every difficulty as a fresh opportunity to prove the all-power of Truth, and as another light to help me to the attainment of my rightful inheritance,—heaven on earth, peace, joy, health, and harmony.

I well remember, in times past, the fear and anxiety expressed in the words, "There is no more to be done but to wait, and hope for the best." Now there is always something to be done; no standing still and anxious waiting, but active work, backed with the reassuring confidence of the availability of good, which brings a peace that passeth understanding. I am thankful to God for giving us this truth through Jesus the Wayshower, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, whose brave stand amidst all the conflicting thought with which she was surrounded has helped me to maintain my stand for Christian Science amidst difficulties which seemed too great to overcome. I am learning every day the truth of the Master's declaration that "with god all things are possible," and that the power of Truth cannot be resisted.
