After having been ill seven months with heart trouble, stomach disorder, and extreme nervousness, for which I had been treated by the best specialists, I decided to try Christian Science. I had spent the whole month of March, 1913, in the country, my friends thinking a change of air might help me; but after I came back I continued to lose flesh. My case seemed hopeless, and finally I turned to Christian Science for relief. A practitioner was asked to come to me, as I was not able to go to her. She was very patient with me, and by July I was able to take long walks in the country. Every one has looked at me in surprise, for I have gained in flesh and have been helped in other ways.

I am so thankful to God and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the help I have received, that I think others should know of it, since, like many another, in my ignorance I used to think there was nothing in Christian Science. I am indeed thankful for the change in my disposition, for I look on everybody and everything in such a different light. My earnest prayer is that I may grow spiritually and help others to know the truth, that they may be free.
