Our family has been interested in Christian Science for nearly three years, and we have been benefited in many ways by reading Science and Health. I wish to give a few cases of healing, as I think thereby some other sufferers may be led to the truth that will make them free. My brother, who is a carpenter, was at work on a building in the summer of 1912 when he fell, and broke his arm in two places. The doctor set it; then my brother came to my house and had Christian Science treatment. He was soon able to go back to work again, although the doctor said it would be several weeks before he would be able to use his arm. My brother also had a stomach trouble which was supposedly due to a growth, but it disappeared while the practitioner was giving him treatment, and a bowel disorder also was healed.

My mother was taken with acute lung trouble when she was away from home and was a very sick woman. A Christian Science practitioner was sent for and gave her two treatments. The next morning she was up and dressed, and in one week's time she was able to come home. In the early fall months she fell and seriously injured her hip, so that she could not stand. Again the practitioner was called to our home, and in two weeks my mother was able to be about. She is very thankful for the benefits she has received through Christian Science. She is over seventy-three years old and loves the Christian Science literature. We have Science and Health and the Quarterly, and enjoy the Lesson-Sermons very much. We always feel benefited by them.
