I give my testimony in the hope of helping some one who needs Christian Science as I did. I gained such an uplift after some explanation from a Christian Scientist, and through reading a lecture and a Christian Science Journal which she gave me, that I began to study the Bible. The first verse I saw clearly was, "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases," and the thought then came to me that if this was true, God would heal me. When I had read about ten days, an abnormal growth in my stomach disappeared, and a chronic disorder of nine years' standing was overcome after all material means had failed. I had tried the different schools of medicine, besides dieting and other methods, for many years, but to no avail. I was also able to lay off glasses which I had worn over three years. I am still rejoicing in this healing, which came to me three years ago, after two weeks of almost constant reading of the Christian Science literature.

Although I came to Christian Science for physical healing, and am grateful for it, I am more grateful for the spiritual uplift I have received. The overcoming of fear has meant much to me, and it gives me great joy that I not only can work out my own problems, but am able to lead others to an understanding of this truth. The Christian Science literature and the Lesson-Sermons are of great help to me. I am thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this revelation of the healing truth.
