I am very grateful for the healing power of Truth as manifested in Christian Science. The proof of God's all-power which came to me was the healing of a severe tremor of the hands, at times of the entire body ; and the heart was affected to such a degree that I was greatly troubled about getting to sleep because of the loud beating. The doctor said this was all caused by a goiter. One physician urged an operation, while another advised me to remain in bed for weeks, to see if that would not reduce the heart action. About this time I began Christian Science treatment with a practitioner, and felt that I was helped ; but later I was led to take treatment from another practitioner, whose simple explanation of the truth enabled me to gain a clearer understanding, and I soon began to feel much better. After having treatment about two months I had occasion to go into a much higher altitude, but I did not experience any unpleasant effects. I can truthfully say my healing has been permanent. For this and for many other blessings I am truly grateful.
