My husband was healed in Christian Science after many years of suffering. Although I knew nothing about this healing religion, I pleaded with him to try it as a last resort. During his illness I became sick mentally, and told my daughters that I thought I was insane, as at times I manifested symptoms of mental disturbance in lapse of memory, with severe pains and distress; but with one treatment in Christian Science this condition was entirely overcome. A distressing sensation was healed absolutely while studying the Lesson-Sermon with my husband. My son was healed in three days of fever. He had all the symptoms of typhoid fever and had not eaten any food for a week, but after the first treatment he asked for something to eat. In three days he was all right. Another son was healed of a severe nervous disorder in two treatments. Discord has also been overcome to a great extent, and words cannot express our thankfulness to God for Christian Science, and our gratitude to Mrs. Eddy. — Katherine Jones, Chicago, Ill.
