Several years ago I became interested in Christian Science through some friends. At that time I was not much impressed with the healing being done, but the fact that it taught a practical religion appealed to me. However, after attending a few of the Wednesday evening meetings and listening to the testimonies of healing, I soon accepted this branch of its teaching also. Since that time I have read the Bible, also "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, together with other Science literature, a great deal, and by applying the truth therein taught to the best of my understanding, in my daily life, a sense of peace has come to me which words cannot express.

In October, 1909, a baby was born to us, and through the help of a practitioner the birth was absolutely painless. By knowing that God is the only source of our strength. I have been well and strong from the first, and so has the baby. The fifth day I took charge of my home, and have continued to do so ever since, doing all the work alone. For the many blessings received through Christian Science I am very grateful to God, and thankful indeed to Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way.
