Never a day passes in which I do not receive some benefit...
Never a day passes in which I do not receive some benefit from Christian Science. It is two years since I became interested, and they were the most restful years which I have ever experienced. I have learned that Truth is the remedy for error of all kinds. The error which seemed to be my worst enemy was excessive fear, brought on by worry over my daughter's ills. She was a sufferer from attacks of throat trouble which at times were very alarming. I tried treatment from several good physicians, without as I thought any good results. I at last heard at Christian Science through a friend, who was kind enough to loan me her much-treasured book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," in which I eagerly read. While reading this book my daughter was taken with an attack of croup. I called a Christian Science practitioner, and in a short time, perhaps a half hour, the child was healed. With that perfect healing the other ills seemed to disappear one by one, until there is no longer any cause for fear. "By their fruits ye shall know them," could be truly applied in this case.
I am very thankful for my spiritual uplift and a better manifestation of God's child through the understanding gained in Christian Science.
Mrs. May DeLong, Waukegan, Ill.
