I am impelled to give expression to my gratitude for Christian Science, although I feel that I shall never be able to express it in words alone. It is ever increasing for what Christian Science has done and is doing for mankind in giving a satisfactory demonstration of man's relationship to God. I have been taught to think right, to keep close watch and correct each wrong thought before it becomes a wrong act. This has not been an easy task, but the results authorize the effort, and they are permanent.

I know that I am better physically, morally, and spiritually than before I knew of Christian Science. It has given me a faith in God, a faith which understands here on this plane of thought that Spirit, not matter, is the real. It has also given me a desire to live rather than to die, and an ever-increasing understanding of Life as Love. What our revered Leader has expressed in "Retrospection and Introspection," that "with our Master, life was not merely a sense of existence, but an accompanying sense of power that subdued matter and brought to light immortality" (p. 58), has helped me greatly.

A sense of trust and peace has been gained that all the seeming disappointments cannot take away, and I needed it, for I felt so unhappy. As I have realized that the real man is born, "not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God," it has been easier to free thought of fleshly inheritances. It was the study of the article on page 180 of "Miscellaneous Writings," on Bible Lessons, that brought me such light, understanding, and peace, I mention this that other seekers may turn to it and find what it has for them.
