For years I have been the recipient of many blessings, brought into my life through a slight understanding of the truth as taught in Christian Science, that God is Mind, "the universal cause, the only creator," and that "evil is not Mind" (Science and Health, pp. 331, 207). This revelation of Truth has brought such a sense of divine protection into my heart and home that mere words fail to express my gratitude. Of demonstrations over physical ills I have had many, but to me the spiritual uplift has been far greater. The continued cleansing of consciousness, although seemingly slow, affords daily proof that I am in the right path, and remaining physical ills will disappear as I am faithful in my effort to cast out all that is unlike God.

In the old way we were taught to do good and to be good, but to me it was in such a vague, indistinct manner that there was danger of becoming lost in the labyrinth of much preaching with little practise. Such was my condition of thought when our Leader's books were brought to my attention, and her teaching I eagerly accepted, with the conviction that it pointed the path which led to God. My progress seemed very slow until I received class instruction from one of Mrs. Eddy's students, which enabled me to understand better how to apply the truth to daily needs. Since that time I have had many trials and disappointments, but also increasing joy through finding that every difficulty overcome is a step onward and upward.

Thanking God for the life-work of our revered Leader, and for the many blessings which fill the present hour, I make this grateful acknowledgment of the benefits bestowed upon me and mine by divine Love as revealed through Christian Science.—Mrs. Nellie Dietler, Denver, Col.
