I am glad to add my testimony to the healing power of God's word, as taught in Christian Science. After having seen my wife restored to health by its means when the medical doctors had told her they could do no more for her, I was led to accept this divine healing power for an annual attack of illness. I was advised to go to bed (for under medical treatment I had always to be in bed for a week or ten days), but instead I called on a Christian Science practitioner, and the result was that the next morning I got up and went to work. I then took absent treatment for rheumatism, which had troubled me for twenty-five years, having been so bad at times that I had to take one hand to lift the other; but in three weeks it had disappeared. I am new entirely free from it, and for all these blessings I am truly thankful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy.
