In writing this testimony I desire to express my heartfelt gratitude to God, and to our Leader for what Christian Science has done for me. Late in 1909 I was taken with a very severe attack of appendicitis. Two doctors were employed for about four weeks, also a nurse for a portion of the time. As soon as I was able I went home with my mother, who is a Scientist, and at this time I was receiving absent treatment from a Christian Science practitioner. A little later I went to the practitioner and received present treatment for one week, and was entirely healed. For this physical healing I am very grateful, but far more am I grateful for the spiritual uplifting that comes from a constant study and practical application of Christian Science as taught by Mrs. Eddy in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
