I rejoice that the opportunity has been given me to testify to the healing power in behalf of Christian Science, for I have seen many forms of error disappear under its declarations of the power of Truth. Several years ago I suffered from nervous collapse to such an extent that I could not walk across the room and had to be carried up and down stairs. No I am able to help in the church work and do many things it seemed I would never be able to do. I have seen severe illness disappear into its native nothingness in a few treatments, both in myself and those of our household. An ulcerated tooth, which the dentist said could not be relieved for several days and that I must endure the pain, was healed quickly. A practitioner took up the work in the morning, and by the afternoon all pain was gone. The dentist was much surprised, and said the core of the abscess had come out as though it had been operated upon surgically. It certainly was a case of beautiful and quick healing. I feel none could testify to the sustaining power of Truth in passing through a great sorrow better than I, and I send this testimony with deep thankfulness to God.

I wish to express my gratitude for the many benefits received through Christian Science. I was healed of a disease of twenty years' standing, which was diagnosed by a specialist as an affection of the stomach and liver. He thought he could cure the stomach disease, but said the liver would always trouble me. His remedies failed to help me, and since getting a little understanding of Christian Science I know why everything material failed, for the cause of the suffering being mental, it could not be removed by a senseless drug. My wife urged me to try Christian Science. She called on a Scientist to inquire where we could get "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and was informed that a readingroom was to be opened here and that a practitioner would soon arrive. We then bought a copy of the text-book, and read it in connection with the Bible, and gained some understanding. As soon as we found that meetings were being held, we attended them. I had nine treatments, and was completely healed. Words cannot express my gratitude, but it shall be my daily endeavor to live so as to reflect Truth.—W. F. THOMAS, Pittsfield, Mass.
