In the course of his sermon at the Manchester Cathedral last evening [April 23], Canon Green told of a woman who was on the fair way to recovery from cancer after having been prayed with by some kindly neighbors, though before that her doctor said she had only three days to live.

He might be told that he was preaching Christian Science, and he would retort that he had not the slightest objection to what the Christian Scientists did; it was their explanation of it which seemed to him to be faulty. The Christian Scientists could not have succeeded as they had done unless they had laid hold of a great truth—distorted though it might be—that great holiness and health went hand in hand.
