In March, 1909, I was stricken with an acute attack of lung trouble, and not knowing that there was a Christian Science practitioner in the city, I lay for about fortyeight hours without food or sleep, and suffering terribly. I then learned of a practitioner, who was called, and I was relieved in a few hours. I was also permanently cured of a troublesome cough under her treatment.

I first became interested in Christian Science about four and a half years ago, when one of the most prominent physicians in this place, after four or five years' treatment and consultation with other doctors, advised me to take my wife to Kansas City to have an operation performed. He made the statement that she could never be a well woman until it was done. She was taken there, but concluded to have treatment from a Christian Science practitioner, and she was soon on the road to health. God is able and willing and does help those that trust in Him.
