I feel that I have delayed too long in writing my testimony, perhaps because being grateful for so many benefits received through Christian Science, it seemed difficult to state any especial one. My little daughter, now ten years old, has had no medicine since I came into Science, six years ago, and has been a stronger and healthier child since we have depended on spiritual means rather than material. She has had several attacks of seemingly serious illness, including throat and stomach difficulties, but all have been quickly overcome by this treatment. Christian Science has also raised me from a condition of despondency to one of cheerfulness. Whereas I once feared everything, I am now learning that to fear is to doubt God's omnipotence, and that there can be no power opposed to God. I have indeed been "born again," and for this awakening I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the Christ-way of healing.

Sincerer gratitude impels me to tell what Christian Science has done for me. Two years ago a little daughter was given to me without pain, every so-called material law about childbirth having been broken by the realization of the truth of being. She is now two years old, and during that time has manifested perfect health and happiness. My greatest desire is to become a better Scientist and to reflect more and more of the one omnipotent Mind, our Father-Mother God. I am indeed thankful to dear Mrs. Eddy, whose teachings have helped me so much.
