While I always enjoy the testimonies in our periodicals, I have been careless about contributing my own experience for the benefit of others; but in talking recently with a friend I related the following case of healing, which occurred in my own home, and she advised me to write it for the Sentinel, thus letting others know of the healing power of Truth. One Saturday night my son came home very ill. On Sunday he ate nothing, and was unable to rest or sleep. We had no telephone in the house, and I was unable to leave him as he was in a very high fever and in great distress. A friend came in who had a telephone, and she immediately went home and called up a Christian Science practitioner, asking for help. The practitioner at once responded, and by the time my friend had returned from her home my son was better. I knew by the changed expression in his face that the truth had been declared and its healing power realized by him. The high fever almost immediately subsided and he expressed a desire for something to eat. I prepared something for him, and he partook of it heartily. This is only one of the many instances we have had of the remedial power of Christian Science, Truth having been our only physician for about ten years.
