About four yeas ago I submitted to a serious operation, and in June, 1909, had another severe one, following which I did not gain strength as I should. The doctors said there was a malignant condition present which would necessitate another operation, and without which I could never get well. The knife and medicine had not helped me, so my husband and I called upon a Christian Science practitioner of this city and made arrangements with her for treatment. At that time I was much reduced, but am now in good health and feel that it has certainly been a remarkable cure. I also had very severe headaches, for which I had taken medical treatment for years, having had three different doctors here and one at another place, without permanent relief. The pain was so severe at times that I would faint repeatedly, doing so eight times one mornign before getting relief, and then it was given by injections of morphine. These attacks have been almost entirely overcome, and I can now eat anything without fear.

I know of other remarkable cures, and shall never cease to be thankful for what Christian Science has done for me, and for the good it is doing here. With God's help we hope to start a society very soon.
