I gladly contribute a mite of my gratitude for what the understanding of Christian Science has done for me. It has taught me what Life is; how I can come into communion with our Father-Mother God, and with this understanding and application of God's remedy I have been freed from various forms of error. During the summer of 1909 I was stricken with an acute stomach disorder, in a very violent from. I immediately applied my understanding of the truth; but because my cure was not instantaneous, fear became prevalent in the home and a physician was called who from the symptoms pronounced my illness gall-stone. As I did not improve under his treatment, my husband wired for a Christian Science practitioner, and upon her arrival I began to improve. I had, however, a severe attack a few hours later, but as she declared aloud the truth, the pain instantly left me. I immediately got up, dressed myself, and ate some fruit with a relish and without any ill effects. Through Christian Science I was set free the disease and am in a perfect condition of health. A volume would not express my gratitude to God and to our dear Leader. Each child of God should strive to demonstrate that God is All-in-all.
