AMONG THE CHURCHES

At a recent meeting of the members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Braintree, Mass., it was agreed with practical unanimity that the work in this vicinity would be facilitated by transferring the center of the church activities to Quincy. It was voted accordingly that this church be known thereafter as First Church of Christ, Scientist, Quincy, Mass. Alpha Hall, Cottage avenue, corner of Hancock street, was secured for the Sunday services and Wednesday evening meetings, together with a smaller hall in the same building for the Sunday School and a readingroom adjoining. The first meeting at the new location was held Wednesday, May 3.

The entry into a field of larger possibilities has been made possible through the consecrated endeavor of the members of the church, since its organization in 1902, to subordinate local and personal considerations to the larger interests of the cause. At a meeting held last December this branch church declared by a unanimous vote its loyalty to the teachings of Mrs. Eddy, and pledged its hearty support to the Board of Directors of The Mother Church.
