Words can never express what the understanding of Christian Science means to me. Twelve years ago, myself and two children had been pronounced incurable by the best of physicians. Today we are living witnesses of the healing power of Christian Science, which has been my help in every need. Not only has it bestowed health and happiness, but also prosperity; and each day brings added joys and blessings.

Recently the power of Truth was manifested to me very clearly in the healing of my little granddaughter of a badly injured shoulder. I was asked to treat the child until the doctor could arrive who had been called to put the shoulder in place, as the parents felt that it would be necessary to have a surgeon do this. To their surprise, as well as that of the doctor, Science had done the work, and the child was resting quietly. After a thorough examination the doctor said, "If this is the work of Christian Science, I would like to read the book." I loaned him a copy of Science and Health, which he still has. I thank God for all the blessings that have come to me through the unselfish labor of our Leader. My daily prayer is to walk in the footsteps of Truth.
