I am thankful that I can testify to the healing power of God, demonstrated through Christian Science, for what the truth has done for me in healing me of rheumatism. My ankle and foot were so affected that I could not walk, and the pains would go all through my body. I tried many remedies, but had no relief. I sent for the doctor, who said that I would have to wear a rubber stocking. I took the medicine he prescribed for several days, but had no relief, and one night I awoke with such severe pains all through my body that I again sent for the doctor. When he came he examined me, and then changed the medicine (I was taking three kinds); but still there was no relief.

I had heard of Christian Science, and I asked my daughter if she would get me a practitioner. I was in bed, scarcely able to move, when the practitioner came. She treated me for several days, and one morning when she came I said, "Now we can praise God, for my pains are all gone." I then got out of bed and walked across the room. I found I did not need to wear a rubber stocking, for divine Truth was all sufficient for me. God has said, "Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee." I was also healed of a throat trouble I had had for years, and of dizziness; and I have been helped in overcoming worry.

I hope this testimony may be a help to others, and I praise God for this wonderful healing power revealed through Christian Science.
