I wish to offer the following expression of gratitude, hoping that it may benefit some reader as I have been helped by the testimonies in our periodicals, and knowing that to help others is to help ourselves. I wish to express my gratitude for the great benefit I have received since becoming a member of a Christian Science church. The duties and privileges of membership inspire one to better and broader work.

While I have certainly received physical help in Christian Science, having been healed of an acute attack of illness and throat trouble, this seems the smallest part. My mental outlook has been entirely changed, and I have found the Father, who is indeed a very present help in every time of need. Why should we not also be grateful to our dear Leader, who has labored so steadfastly to reveal to us the God "who forgiveth all thin iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases"!
