AMONG THE CHURCHES

First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Chadron, Neb., has purchased a lot located in a pleasant part of the city, and is now raising funds for the erection of a church thereon. The edifice will probably be ready for occupancy in the near future.—Correspondence.

On the 25th of last January we organized a Christian Science Society, with fourteen members. About a month later we decided to build a small church, 18 x 25. It was finished by Easter Sunday and on that day we held our services in the church. A more grateful little flock would be hard to find. Five of us are members of The Mother Church. Several years ago we had a church organization, but it did not stand, for we did not then know the meaning of church. While we do not know very much more now, we hope through obedience and faithful work to learn the true meaning of church, as given by our dear Leader in Science and Health (p. 583).—Correspondence.
