The psalmist says, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." I am glad to testify that the glory of God has been made manifest to me, through my healing of acute lung trouble one year ago; and I am more grateful than words can express for this healing, which I consider the greatest proof I have had in my three years' experience of Christian Science. These experiences serve to prove the ever-present power of Truth to heal the sick; and through Christian Science I have been able to prove this not only for myself, but also for others. My first healing, over three years ago, was of severe nervous illness, besides stomach and other troubles. I received class instruction, and later, when taken with the attack first mentioned, I relied upon the Science for help and was healed without a doctor and without medicine.

I am thankful to God that Mrs. Eddy was able to write a book which gives us such an understanding of the promises of the Bible and through which so many have been healed and saved.
