I have been helped so many times by Christian Science, and so many are the blessings that have come to me through its teachings, that I wish to express my deep and sincere gratitude. The following incident of healing, which occurred in 1897, was the first of several which have been effected by absent treatment. I had been examined by a physician for an attack of throat trouble. The case seemed serious and I was told to go to bed. I then telegraphed the condition of affairs to a Scientist, and later, when the doctor returned and made a second examination, he pronounced the case entirely cured. Although the day was cold and disagreeable, I took a trip on the train of eighty-six miles and felt no inconvenience. All the above transpired in less than one half day. Christian Science has also been most beneficial in business matters. For all these blessings I am truly thankful to God, and also to Mrs. Eddy, through whose unselfish life all this good has come to me.—Sarah A. Alloway, New Haven, Conn.
