I am very grateful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy for the many blessings I have received from Christian Science. Several years ago I took a severe cold, which developed into bronchial trouble. I consulted a physician, took several kinds of medicine, but continually grew worse. I was obliged to discontinue singing in the church choir, of which I was a member at the time, and occasionally was unable to speak above a whisper. I was in this condition nearly all winter. My physician then told me that he had one thing more to give me, and if that failed he could do nothing more. I took the medicine he prescribed, but there was no improvement and I coughed continually.

I then turned to Christian Science, and was completely healed in a short time. At the same time I was healed of another serious ailment, for which, a specialist had told me a short time before this, I must undergo an operation. The Christian Science practitioner knew nothing about this trouble, as I did not mention it to her until I was healed. This healing took place several years ago, and I am now perfectly well. I was also healed in one night of a very severely injured ankle, and was able to be on my feet all the next day in a store. For these and many other blessings I am truly grateful.
