I had been interested in Christian Science but two years when my first child was born. My relatives and neighbors, except my husband, opposed my having its treatment, but without making it known to them I placed myself under the care of a practitioner at a distance from my home. When the time of delivery arrived, I had a slight pain, which proved to be the forerunner of the birth, and that came on normally and was entirely painless. There were none of the bad results which often follow childbirth, and I have had other children born since with similar results. I am perfectly well and healthy.
