Announcement was made at the morning service of the Christian Science church yesterday [July 18] of the purchase of the larger part of the Dr. E. C. White property on Park street for the building of a church edifice. The purchase price was ten thousand five hundred dollars. The frontage is one hundred and seventy-seven feet and the depth ninety-eight feet. At the present time there are no definite plans for the construction of a church on the property. The services of the Christian Science society have been held for some time in the Lansing Block on State street.
