The architects have completed drawings for the erection of a handsome edifice for Second Church of Christ, Scientist, at Mount Royal avenue and St. Paul street. The church, which will be one of the most beautiful buildings in point of architecture in the city, will be only one story high. It will front on Mount Royal avenue ninety-six feet and extend along St. Paul street ninety-seven feet. The cost for construction alone will be about $225,000. The building will be of Grecian type, of artistically carved marble and granite, with reinforced concrete foundation and terra cotta roofing. The facade will be of granite and onyx, and the entrance will be on the Mount Royal avenue side.
