First Church of Christ, Scientist, has been holding its regular Sunday morning and Wednesday evening meetings in Masonic Hall, Fruitvale, but is finding the accommodations restricted for the growing congregation. It has been arranged that the church shall secure a large assembly-room in the new Masonic Building, which is rapidly approaching completion, and the hope is entertained that before long the Scientists will erect their own church.
