With a deep sense of joy and gratitude to the Cause of Christian Science, I offer the following testimony of healing. Last summer I had a sudden attack of acute rheumatic trouble, which affected my hands and feet. I was entirely helpless and suffered terribly. Although God seemed so far away, I felt, as did the psalmist, that "it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man," for He had been my only physician during the last nine years; therefore I sought no other remedy but Christian Science treatment. After one week the bonds of evil were broken, and I was again able to use my limbs. My strength returned rapidly, and after a few more days I walked downstairs and moved about as formerly. This touch of Truth's healing power was to me a great proof of God's love and care; it has strengthened my confidence in God, divine Mind, and increased my love of the truth. It has also given me a keener appreciation of the love and patience manifested in the noble work of Christian Science practitioners. Thanks be to God for giving us the truth of spiritual being through dear Mrs. Eddy.
