For some time I have felt it a duty to express my gratitude...
For some time I have felt it a duty to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the many benefits which I have received thereby. In the year 1904 I became very ill, and the physician to whom I applied for help told me that all the internal organs were affected and that I should eat only light, digestible food; but the medicine I took did me no good, and I could not retain my food. I then had two other physicians, and later on a homeopathic doctor. but none of them could help me. For three years I had hardly any sleep, was confined to my bed most of the time, and could not read at all.
I am happy that I have now found the way to Truth through Christian Science. I am able to eat anything, I sleep as I never slept before in my life, and I have gained considerably in weight. My heart is filled with gratitude for this revelation of divine Love, and I strive daily to come nearer to God, divine Mind, and to relinquish all error. I thank God that the way to health and peace has been shown to us by Mrs. Eddy, our beloved Leader.
