The love of Christ constrains me to give this testimony of healing...

The love of Christ constrains me to give this testimony of healing through the goodness of God as made known in Christian Science. In July, 1905, after undergoing the amputation of a finger from blood-poisoning, I was taken suddenly with rheumatic trouble, which finally terminated in an organic affection of the spine. I was examined by a skilful physician, who said he had never known an adult to be cured of so severe a curvature, and advised me to go to the Massachusetts General Hospital for examination by a specialist. I had been attending Christian Science services, and felt that my only chance of help would be in that way, so I went to a practitioner for treatment. Three weeks later I was examined by the physician who had seen me before, and he pronounced it a perfect cure.

Since that time Science and Health has been my daily companion. Circumstances made it necessary for me to live where I had neither Christian Science companionship nor a chance to attend the meetings, but the sustaining power of the infinite has been my support, enabling me to conquer difficulties and enjoy a greater degree of health than I otherwise should have done. Taking God's Word and promises for my guide, I have been kept from dangers seen and unseen. I am indeed thankful, and am eagerly watching for opportunities to help others who are seeking this new-old way of salvation from sin, disease, and death. For the blessedness of knowing that the "great Physician" now is here, I have not words enough to express my gratitude.—Nellie S. Wilson, New Ipswich, N. H.
