We always think with great joy and gratitude of our loving Father, the dispenser of health and harmony; we are mindful of His Son, Jesus Christ, who has revealed to us the divine power, and we remember with gratitude the Discoverer of Christian Science, through whom the Christ-healing has come to the world again. Several of our nearest relatives have experienced the wholesome influence of this pure teaching, and we note the successful healing of troubles, in part of long standing, through the treatment of a practitioner who has lovingly showed us the right way.
Through the right apprehension of the Christ-idea we now are enabled to oppose error successfully, whenever it tries to enter in. We have been freed of bad habits without constraint, so that we exclaim today, "How dull is the life in which Truth is not understood!" It really is a joy to live when one gets a right comprehension of the Christ-principle, of infinite Love. When the truth is truly grasped it works quickly, surely, and without danger. Our most earnest desire is, that humanity altogether may awake from the frenzy of enslaving materialism and become acquainted with the power of spiritual thought and freedom in its full beauty.
